Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Prilexo VPN collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application and related services.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, and password (stored hashed) when you register.
- Session data — authentication tokens and optional device identifiers.
- Service usage — VPN connect/disconnect events for capacity and abuse prevention. We do not sell browsing content or packet payloads.
- Diagnostics you start — optional speed tests may contact third-party endpoints you initiate.
- Support — messages you send via tickets or email.
2. Information we do not collect
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not require contacts, photos, or precise GPS for core VPN use.
- We do not monetize by redirecting other apps’ traffic for advertising fraud.
3. How we use data
- Provide and improve the VPN service.
- Authenticate users and prevent abuse.
- Respond to support and comply with law.
4. VPN & network traffic
When VPN permission is granted, the app starts an encrypted WireGuard tunnel using the server configuration from your account (wg-quick style config). Traffic is routed through that tunnel to the selected server. The current Android build requires a valid WireGuard config; features such as kill switch, custom DNS override, and in-app ad blocking are not active in this build unless separately stated. Review in-app disclosures before connecting.
5. Sharing
We share data only with infrastructure providers needed to run the service, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention & deletion
You may delete your account:
- In the app: Settings → Delete Account (password required).
- On the web: Delete Account form.
- By email: support@prilexovpn.com.
When you delete an account we revoke sessions, remove push tokens, clear the password hash, and replace the email/name with a non-identifying tombstone so the account cannot be used again. Limited operational logs (for example abuse or security records) may be retained where required by law or to protect the service; they are not used to profile your browsing content.
